Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy. I never expected this from GD. The moment I received my transfer, I knew that my life will change for the better.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I happy person that I have bought something which I have been desiring most. Movement between places has been simplified because of the transfer. I also have a comfortable sleeping place. I have also managed to buy maize for food processing. I couldn't have managed to do all this on my own.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my first transfer to buy a bicycle to ease movement. The hospital is very far and it is always a challenge to go to access the services when one doesn't have a bicycle. I also bought a mattress. The cost of the Mattress was MK 50 000. I also bought some clothes for myself. I also bought 3 bags of maize. I also used the money to rent a piece of land.
