How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Me and my family's everyday lives have changed so much since receiving money from Givedirectly because now we have enough food for the whole family and the bags of maize that i bought will be able to sustain us up to the next harvesting season.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I believe there is nothing I would point out that Givedirectly ahould improve on, Givedirectly is doing a very good job especially giving us a large amount of money which has enabled me to build this house.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I could not believe that I have received this huge amount of money when I saw the alert.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference would be to be able to have my own house.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I want to build a house, therefore i have bought 24 iron sheets, Have moulded bricks and have kept some to pay for labour. I have also bought blankets and mattress to be sleeping comfortably.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am very happy to be in this program. I think that I am lucky to be enrolled. I have already made plans to build a house using the money that I will receive.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I have money. This makes me happy because I know that I will buy food for my children.If my children are happy then I also become happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardships that I face are lack of a proper house and lack of food. Another challenge that I face is lack of a proper place to sleep. As I am planning to build a house, I will also make sure that I will buy a matress so that I can a good place to sleep on.
