What does receiving this money mean to you?
I was a big business woman before the 2001 war but due to the distruction I lost everything .For now my family and I survived through fishing which is very risky for our lives. With this cash, I plan to start up a new life through business to aid me take care of the family wellbeing.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Since the last six months, today is the happiest day of my life. I have heard alot about Givedirectly and the impact they are making in the lives of others but they alway passed by in my town without making a stop which was worrisome, I kept on Praying to God until today they are here to take me from hard time.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My source of survival is through fishing and the ones I managed to fetch, is sold and the money is used to take care of my children school, feeding , and food. Despite of all that, the income is very little which makes it more challenging for me to carry on each day.
