I spent the larger part of my third transfer on paying school fees for my child who is in the university 24,000KES ,I feel happy that I am seeing my child through their his education. I built a decent three-roomed house 22,000KES since I had already bought the necessary building materials with the second transfer. I also bought food for my family's consumption 4,000 KES.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have a spacious decent three -roomed house hence I longer incur the expenses of paying monthly rental fee and this money I am saving to start another development project for my household.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by carrying out door to door visits before enrolling eligible recipients and through this the impact of the money was felt in my community as the targeted households were reached which are the poor .

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer on buying thirty pieces of iron sheets in preparation for building my house. Currently I'm staying in a rental house and it's very expensive and stressful especially when you dont have a stable source of income. I spent half of my cash transfer on starting up a business to enable me earn a daily income.
