What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I spent on a cow, 2 sheep and 30 iron sheets. I am motivated to construct a better house since we have been homeless for quite long since our house got burnt.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer because I have re-gained a normal way of life. My household items got burnt and I lost everything till I became poor but now I have acquired most of the things I lacked in life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Give Directly does well is that it empathizes with the poorest and help them with money but I would urge it considers a basic monthly income in my area to sustain us a little longer.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?

Our proudest achievement was building our own house and buying things for our house, but it burnt down with everything.

The biggest hardship was losing our child a day after he was born,we still don't know what caused his death and its still painful to us. Losing our house also has been tough since we don't have any privacy nowerdays.

The happiest part of our day is when my husband comes home from fishing and he has caught enough fish that we can sell and eat.
