How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I wish to complete my house. My greatest dream is to do well for good. I was living in total fear thinking that I was going to die because of the condition I had. My dream is further my education after I have graduated from high school.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly has help me a lot. I was very sick at the verge of death. Through this cash transfer I was able to build my house through my brother. Am very grateful to God for blessing me through this program.

My recent transfer I use $15000 to complete my house. I also pay for my medication in the sick bush were I spend two weeks.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I main priority is see myself get well and back on my feet. I have been sick for the past six years now. I under went surgery at the JFK hospital in Monrovi i was badly affected from the surgery which has led to a live time sick. I'll also want to build a house for my self. My plan is to also go back to school and become a graduate like my mates out there. Givedirectly has done so much for me by the grace of God am improved in health gradually.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Am happy that Givedirectly is changing my life gradually. The hard life i had has become so simple for me since i encounter Givedirectly. I can't say Givedirectly has done bad because i haven't seen it before.

The money i received from Givedirectly i used for my medication. I also used portion of the money buy zinc and other materials. The balance is in saving that'll be used to to complete my house and pay the working.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new plan I have make before receiving this transfer is to seek medical treatment. I am not feeling too well .I have been sick for the past 3years .Since then, I have not gone to advance hospital for medical check-up due to hardship. Even Though my previous goal had been to build my own house but My health come first and is most precious than anything. I am grateful to Givedirectly for the cash support. I believe that with my transfer, my health will soon improve.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly direct cash support to families through mobile money is very helpful . Givedirectly staffs do not segregate among recipients in communities. Thanks to Givedirectly for being freed from corruption while implementing project with the communites
For future programming, I recommend that Givedirectly work with all communities in a selected county. Givedirectly should not jump over communities to bring about bad feelings.

I used the most recent transfer to buy one bundle of zinc to complete the remaining zinc I need to start building my house. I am planning to travel to Monrovia for medical examinations and treatment with my balance money in saving. I believe that with receiving transfer from Givedirectly., my suffering will soon be over.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy when I received my payment on my phone. Since I was born, this is the first time I've received this amount of money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Although I have not yet withdrawn my money, but the biggest difference in my daily life could be, I am now highly respected in the community and I can afford to built my own house.

If I cash out my money, I will build my own house and then I will use some to go to the hospital for treatment since I am not well.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I went through a sugery that affected me. Because of that, i don't go anywhere. So when i receive this money, i will go to hospital to treat myself and also built my own house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I never had anywhere good to stay, but 2 months ago my brother gave me room in his house to stay. That's the only thing that brought me joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I presently have festula from the sugery, and i don't have money to treat myself.
