The time my first money came I was really happy. I was so happy because From my young age and now I am old I have not live in a better house, through out my life I have been living in thatch house. My kids could not go to school because of no finance. Receiving this money brought a lot of Joy to me because I will build my new house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.

Before I used to struggle to get my daily bread from planting cassava, pepper, and bitter boy. I was not able to send my kids to school because of lack of finance. Now that GiveDirectly started sending me money the burden of funding my kids education has been settled, Also, I will be able to build a decent shelter for me and my children. For this I am very thankful to Give Directly and I will continue to pray for them.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
What I plan to do with my cash transfer is, I will break down this old structure that we're currently in and build a new zinc house, because this house is very old and leaking, when rain falls the entire house leaks, and this can even cause us to sometimes catch severe cold of which I'm currently suffering from for which I'm unable to go for the sim registration.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, what had brought me joy is that, there was a time in months passed when I made my pepper farm, my farm produced very well, all of the peppers came up fine; I sold it and was able to realize something good.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Those challenges I'm currently facing are, "One", making farm is highly challenging, most times after making the farm we experienced our crops being spoiled due to animals, which can cause us not to realize anything. "Two", the issue of my wellbeing, no cash now to start up my building project, my son, Collins, who normally supports us has his family to attend to, so raising finance to start up something is of serious challenge; our age had been one of the contributing factors that's leading to us not achieving these demands.
