How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is really different. I am a poor man and good things do not usually come my way. I struggle for basic necessities such as food and housing. Right now with your help, I have been able to comfortably feed my household. I am even gaining weight, a sign that I am really eating well. Again, of special mention is the house project. My house is grass thatched and not that comfortable hence after the new house I am building reaches completion, my life will be completely different. Thank you so much.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly's operations are perfect and I honestly do not have any complaints. Keep it up.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have used the money to buy a mattress, bicycle, iron sheets for a new house, children's clothes and other household utensils.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money to me means I now will have a safe place to sleep. I will be able to have a good house as my house is small and I still plan to grow my family and this house cannot accommodate my whole family
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am usually happy in the evenings when I have managed to eat in that day. If not it is a sad day
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face is that of food. I do not have a land to farm and as such I mainly depend on buying food for myself so money is hard to come by.
