How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The recent goal I have set before receiving this transfer is to continue with my first plan which is to build my own house. I am grateful to Givedirectly for the cash support. If it wasn't for Givedirectly, I was not going to make any plan to build house in this village. I have been complacent with living in someone house in this village because of hardship. This transfer has brought so much joyed to my mind. I have decided to used my recent transfer to purchase 2 bundles of 32gage zincs to roof my house. I believe that with Givedirectly kind gesture to me through cash, I am going to build a decent house in this village.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly is one of the best Organization in Liberia for now. Through the great jobs carried out by Givedirectly in our community, many youths are now motivated to start building their own houses so that they can relocates from their parents houses while some recipients are using their transfers to improved their houses roofs from thatch to zincs. I really appreciate Givedirectly for giving us freed cash. There on system in GiveDirectly that needs improvement .
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am planning spend my most recent transfer to purchase two bundles of 32 gage zinc. I want to hired two cashual workers to start building my house structure immediately since the house sticks are now available. Thanks to Givedirectly for empowering me financially to start making plan to build my own house. I believe that with my transfer, few months from now, I will own a house in this village.

Givedirectly has done so much for me .i came to Rivercess seven years ago due to sickness. i always wanted to do something tangible for this town but, there has been no funds to do it. Through Givedirectly transfer i will fulfil my dreams so that my wife can be proud among her friends.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I've been in dire need of finances to build my house and send my children to school. Therefore, when I received my transfer from GiveDirectly, I was very much elated. My desire of sending my children to school and building a house will finally be realized through GD's financial assistance. I am so grateful for this life changing opportunity that GiveDirectly has provided me and my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving transfer from GiveDirectly has remained the fact that I am able to build a house. Likewise, I am also able to pay my children tuition. However, all this wouldn't have been possible without GiveDirectly's financial assistance. I am so grateful to be part of this life changing opportunity.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I received my transfer from GiveDirectly, I bought two bundles of zinc and gasoline to saw plank for my new house. I also used part of the money to repair my power saw so that I could cut more wood to aid in the construction process of my house. Furthermore, the remaining portion of my money was used to pay my children tuition. I'm so glad that my life through GD's transfer has change for good.
