What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on clearing a debt on my plot of land that I had deposited on with my second transfer. I cleared to be able to acquire my land title.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I had no hope of ever developing my self because i could barely get to handle 20,000 shs because of poverty however my life is different because i now own land and I was able to pay school fees for my children on time and most importantly i got to own and handle money in millions.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by being patient and lenient with us forexample how they call us back several times when our networks are poor sometimes but they keep trying until they talk to us.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money i felt happy and jumped in the house with joy. I even woke up my children and told them about the money then the next day I withdrew it and used it as I had planned.

I spent my first transfer on buying scholastic materials like books, pens, shoes, for my children before taking them back to school.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on starting saloon business and the remaining balance to build a house because currently I am renting.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is educating my daughter now in form three and I wish her to become teacher.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship currently is paying school fees because I wish all my children to study but meeting school fees for my children is almost not possible.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning when I receive many customers to my saloon business.
