What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means alot to me,I still can't believe that i will receive the transfer, but I'm so grateful for getting enrolled in the programme.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the evenings this is so because that's when I get to eat properly, usually from morning till sunset I'm always busy making the seat mats(Nkeka) and I only get to eat in the evenings.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I'm an old man and I got separated from my wife 10 years ago,the entire time i was married I used to live in my wife's village and i even built a house there, but since our separation I decided to move back to my village and sadly I didn't build any house, because of that i had to be living in this tiny house,it's like for 10 years now I have been living in this kitchen like house and nobody offered me a better place to live in,as you can see i make Nkeka's ( seat mats) for a living and the money I make out of this business is too small for my upkeep not to talk of building a house,so thank you Givedirectly for this opportunity but as soon as I get the transfer my main priority will be building a house.
