Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I wish to start a small savings account which I will use in buying a goat. This is a form of investment which I know will increase in value very fast. Again it requires a very minimal resource to take care of. Goats reproduce fast and in a short time, I will have a number of them. When I have any financial emergency, I can sell some to raise money for my needs. I would not have to beg nor borrow money as before when I have the goats.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have been able to pay school fees for my children. In this year, they have never been sent home for fees arrears as it was the case before the transfers. In the past, they would be sent home on a monthly basis as I was not able to pay their arrears in time. This is because I did not have a stable source of income. I only relied on a small income from casual work which was not consistent and paying very little. Due to many family needs, I could not keep up in paying my children fees arrears in time as required. I had to faults just to cater for other needs of the family. This is why my children would be sent home on a monthly basis. Since I started receiving these transfers, I have been using part of it to pay my children's fees arrears bit by bit. As a result, I have managed to clear this year's arrears and when they report next year, I will still keep up in the same way.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life will be different in the next six month in that I will be having a cow. When I finally have the goats which I plan to buy with my transfers, I will raise them and I hope not a financial emergency will come up forcing me to sell the goats. When they reproduce and have up to five goats, I will sell them and buy a cow. I will finally have my biggest dream. I have always desired to have a cow but due to low income from casual work and other needs, I had to keep my dream aside. With the transfers, I have achieved a lot in my life and I know I will also achieve the goal of owning a cow through the transfers. GD has truly changed my life. As a result of this, I am motivated about the future which was never the case before the transfers.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my life is different from how it was in that, I have been able to take care of my needs easily. I have managed to pay fees and even buy food without struggling. Previously, it was a struggle because I only depended on the casual jobs and the money was not enough to carter for all my needs. Getting the monthly transfer has been a big relief because I supplement the money with what I get from casual jobs to meet my daily needs.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to buy sheep and goats. These are investments that I can easily sell when I have emergencies. I do not have any at the moment but I know that soom this dream will be actualized.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I was able to handle the planting season with ease. I had the monthly transfer that I topped up with my wife's and we were able to pay the person who prepared our piece of land using a tractor. I also bought the hybrid seeds on time. Before then, It was challenging because the little amount that we got from casual jobs was not enough no take care of most needs in our household. We ended up digging by ourselves managing a small area of land.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectations in the next six months is to have bought sheep and goats. These multiply very fast and within a short period of time, I will have bought an ox to help in plowing my land or even a dairy cow for milk production.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my children have ample time in school to study as they are not sent away from school. The transfers have helped to pay the school fees for my children so they can get a quality education. I have also managed to buy a solar panel to help in lighting my home. This will help enhance my home security and also scare away burglars.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to invest in planting trees that I can later sell to get money to help improve my family's livelihood.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life is the fact that my children are not sent away from school as I can pay school fees on time using the transfers. When I started receiving the transfers, I transferred the children from a public school to a private one for them to to get a quality education. I have been paying the fees right on time and my children are hardly sent away from school to clear outstanding fee balances.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to still pay more school fees for my children They are still far with their education and I would like to start a savings plan to help pool the transfers so that I can pay their school fees at once rather than in monthly instalments. I believe that I shall have achieved this by the end of the six months.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was in that I can easily take care of my daily needs. I can also comfortably pay school fees for my children and nowadays, I am glad that they are rarely sent home due to fees arrears unlike before where they could stay for a week or more at home while I look for money to send them back to school. I can also afford to buy farm inputs just like any other farmer. This makes me per with the other farmers in the villager who get good yields during the harvesting season because of using this modern method of farming.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Currently, I don't have a new goal. My focus is on my farm. I want to ensure I get enough yields that will last us up to the next season. I am also planning to sell some of these yields that will help me sustain my family. I want to concentrate fully and bring out the best in this since it is the only investment I have at the moment.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I am now a happy and advanced farmer. I was able to buy farm inputs, such as fertilizer and hybrid seeds on time in readiness for the planting season. Previously, I used to depend on the local ones which could not give me good yields. I could not afford to buy the conventional inputs because the wages I got from the odd jobs could not be enough to take care of my daily needs and at the same to time buy fertilizer and hybrid seeds. I want to thank Give Directly for restoring my peace and empowering me financially.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have bought bulls. I will no longer hire people to work for me but Instead, I will use my bulls to till my pieces of land and other peoples' land so as to earn a living. I hope I will get healthy and strong bulls that will last longer and work efficiently.
