How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that my family now sleeps comfortably in under a well roofed house, unlike before the wind had blown off the roof and we had no money to properly fix.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD has done well to directly give us cash transfers and I have been able to complete my house, and there is nothing bad it has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy to construction materials (nails, iron sheets,timber) worth UGX 1,000,000, construction labor at UGX 500,000, food at UGX 132,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that am hopeful of constructing an iron roofed house which is my joy.

The moment I received the transfer, I felt very happy.

I spent my first transfer for buying clothes, bricks at 500,000ugx, I bought food at 100,000ugx, I have saved 1,000,000ugx for buying other construction materials and for paying labourer.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When i receive this money, me and my husband have a plan of building an iron sheet roofed house. This will help us have a spacious house for our children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my life is when i hear any good news for example when am hopeful that i will get money.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is the problem of a heart disease that was scanned last year. Since i was diagnosed with this illness, my physical life is retarded.
