What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have planned to buy three bundles of zinc and 15 packs of nails to build my house. The rest of my money will be spent on my education; I want to finish eleventh grade and also graduate to help myself in the future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done well by giving us opportunity to make our lives better. They have not done any bad that I know of.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
At times I can't afford for my children to eat, I have to begged other neighbours to help my children with food. The money my husband earned from palm he cuts cannot maintain our family and I am not doing anything now to help with some responsibility of the family. I really want to start my own business but I don't have money. Getting money to start my own business is my greatest challenge now.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Being part of a polygamous family, I feel bad seeing my children out of school. The money my husband earned from the palm is divided between my mate and I and is not enough to maintain the family. With all the challenges we are going through, I'm so happy that no member of my family have been to the hospital or was involved into any accident. This brought so much for the past (6) months.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
My husband cut palm to provide for our family, for the past (10) years. Being a polygamous family, the money he earned from the palm making is divided between my mate and I and is not enough to maintain our family. I'm not doing any business now to help with some responsibility of the family. Our children are out of school because of money. If I receive this money I will start my own business and send my children to school.
