What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Recieving this money would help me to buy livestock such as goats for rearing. Goats are easy to maintain and good breeders since they give birth to kids within a short time period. I would sell the goats to be able to easily provide basic needs for my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the month of July, I was the happiest because I had a casual job for two weeks. I was plastering a house and was paid K30,000 which I used to buy a bag of maize at K15,000. The remaining money I used it to buy other basic needs for my family such as soap, body lotion and relish.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenge that I am currently facing is access to clean water. I have to travel a distance for about 1 kilometer to fetch water at a borehole. When am not available at home it becomes a big challenge for my wife to go fetch water since we have three children and the youngest are twins who are a year old. This has been affecting my family's health because we are forced to drink water from unprotected wells which are closer to our house.
