How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Finishing my house is something I really wanted to do when I heard of GD. I earlier gave up because I had no money but GD gave me an opportunity to revive my dream. I am grateful.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I have seen GD as of great benefit to me. GD is doing very well in providing cash transfers to rural in huge amounts. I have managed to finish my house which I couldn't have managed on my own.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used second transfer to finish my house which I built some time back. I bought 10 bags of cement for plastering and floor. I also bought 7 bags of maize for food processing. 2 bags of fertilizer to apply in my maize field.
The other amount of money was used for medical expenses. I have a child who was admitted at the hospital
