How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have enough food now, if not for this money I don't know where I could have been getting food since before to find food I was to look for a piece of work which was hard to get and we were only eating according to what we have for that day mostly we were eating once or twice but now we are eating normally thrice a day and also I started a small business which is sustaining our new lives through the profits."

I am thankful for the good work your doing but please visit those that you left behind like you already given them phones and when they call you you promise to visit them again but up to now you haven't visited them yet please improve on that
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With the money I added some house building materials for my house, I bought food, clothes, paid fees, started a small business and shared with my relative that did not receive the money.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
i was very very happy, i screamed and shouted with joy because i never expected it.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Am now able to provide food for my family which was a challenge in the past could only provide one meal but now we are able to eat 3 times a day and i used to sleep on a mat but am comfortably sleeping on bed.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
i have spent the transfer on mattress, bed, blankets, groceries , maize , maize and i plan on maintaining my house with a new roof.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am now looking forward to buy iron sheets for the house,affordable beddings while the rest will go towards starting a tomato business as we were taught how to do gardens by some NGO but I didn't have capital.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Mornings are the happiest part of my day. I always look forward to prepare breakfast for my kids.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The illness of my son who has been sick for a very long time drained my resources.
