How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
At the moment I don't have any new goals, since I'm working on building my new house.From my first and second Transfer I bought three bundles of roofing sheets three cartoons of nails and paid power saw operator to cut planks for me. So I'm looking forward,to receive my last transfer to start the elevation work.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly should continue to give out direct cash transfer to poor people to help improve their livelihood.

Since my plan has been to build a better shelter for my family, when I received my third transferred I purchased additional one bundle of roofing sheets a cartoon of nails and complete payments for my balance planks that I will used for the roofing of my house, when I'm done with the elevation work.

Givedirectly does well when it comes to cash transfer. What they have done, no NGO has ever done it in my lifetime. I am so proud of them.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy when I received my first transferred from GiveDirectly. From the day I was born until now that I am 26years old I been living in a deplorable house, The roof of my house is covered with thatches, during wet season My family and I suffer from Cold as the result of leaking roof. I'm so thankful to GiveDirectly for giving me financial assistance, with this help I will built a better shelter that will keep my family and I warm and safe during wet season.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life has improved greatly since GiveDirectly started sending me transferred. In the past, My family and I suffer from cold during raining season.Whenever rain falls Our house leak so much making us to experience uncomfortable night of sleep. Now that GiveDirectly have started sending me transferred I will build a better shelter that will keep my family and I safe and warm during wet season.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"I intend to go back to school and build my own house if I receive a cash transfer from Givedirectly. I am a junior high school dropout (9th grade) when I had my first child in 2017 and has not been able to see myself back in school. Many of my friends who and me were attending the same school have graduated while some of them are now in senior class (12th grade) expected to graduate this year. More besides, I also lost my father this gone October 9 of this year that even makes it impossible that I might even go to school again in my life time. If Givedirectly bless me with money, it will help me achieve my dream of becoming an educated woman".
What is the happiest part of your day?
"What makes me happy in the last six months was when I safely gave birth to my second daughter on June 5, 2021. It makes me happy because many of my friends that were pregnant didn't have the opportunity to have a safe delivery".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The biggest hardship facing me now is to own my own house so that me and my children can live happily. The house I am presently in is in a deplorable condition and that being a woman who is not strong enough to go to the forest and gather house materials makes it even more challenging. Also, I don't have money to pay people to help me get those materials to renovate the house. Therefore, any assistance that Givedirectly can give me that will help me and my children live happily will be highly appreciated".
