How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest achievement I have had ever since I started receiving transfers from Give Directly is that I managed to buy a piece of land. I also managed to build a house with the same transfers. These are big projects that I don't think I would have achieved were it not for Give Directly. I really thank them to date because not even my close relatives would have assisted to do half of what Give Directly has done. May God bless them abundantly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
According to me Give Directly projects are unique and trans-formative. I am happy because I was one of the beneficiaries and my life has improved because of them. I usually pray that God will continue blessing them so that they continue helping other people in other regions the same way they helped us.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfers on buying building materials for plastering my house. I had bought other building materials using the first transfers and I was stuck because I didn't have enough money to buy other materials that were needed. The new site where we were moving to has poor drainage and during rainy season water can sip through the floor of the house. This is why I prioritized plastering the house before doing any development project. I thank Give Directly or saving us from this menace, I don't think I would have done the plastering this soon.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will mean alot to me, I had a dream of building a semi permanent house for my family. I am seeing this coming to reality soon because I will use the transfer to build it..
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am back home from work, thats when I can relax with my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
While in school I really struggled with school fee because my parents didn't have money to educate me. Sometimes I was forced to do casual work over the weekends and during holidays so has to raise money for the fee. That was the biggest challenge in my life.
