Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
i was very happy when i received my transfer because i knew the money will reduce the problems i have been facing in my life.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
i used to do piece work in order to find money to buy food for my family, sometimes we could spend the whole day without a normal meal because of lack of food at home. with the money that i have received i have bought enough food for my family and we are eating normal meals everyday. i have also stopped doing piece work to find money for food , right now i am working in my farm to produce my own food for next year. i have also bought iron sheet for my house since in the past i have been staying in a grass thatched house.

when i received my money i bought i iron sheets, food and mattress, i bought these things because i did not have food at home, my house was thatched with grass, and i used to sleep on a mat.
