How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received the money it was a moment of celebration. I was walking towards my house when i heard people shouting that they have received their money. I checked my phone and also saw my money.I was so excited and dancing because it was the first of it kind in my life.
I immediately thought of owning a house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
We are living in a family house because our
house broke down and we couldn't afford to rebuild.
But Give Directly has made a permanent marked our lives. We have started to rebuild our house from Give Directly unconventional cash transfer.

My husband and I house broke down and we were assisted by one of our family members to stay in his house.
So receiving money from Give Directly, gave us hope again because we couldn't afford to build our own house.
So we bought 2 bondles of zinc for 173.30USD and the balance for transportation.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan for the transfer is, to send my children to school and build my own house. The house I'm presently in, is my father's house. Therefore, I need to build my own house because my family is growing and I cannot spend the rest of my life in my father's house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The only thing that brought my joy is that my garden came up very well. We planted pepper, eddoes yams and all came up well and our farm is very large this year. That only brought me joy. Like I said, my only source of income is farming.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I do not have money to pay my children, fees and make business. With that, I see money as my major challenge. Our only source of income is farming and I want to make business in order to improve our family lives.
