the moment i received my transfer i was very happy because i knew i will be living in a good house

i used to stay in a grass thatched house, towards every rainy season i used to change the roof. it was a tiresome job and my dream was to improve the roof. currently i have bought iron sheets and am living in a good house with no worries of changing the roof every year. thank you Give Directly.

when i received my first transfer i bought iron sheets to improve my house. the remaining amount was used to buy food, mattress and other basic needs

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money will help us buy enough food for our household as we are starving. Our daughter is always sick and this has drained alot of our resources and this money will help us cater for this as well
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest when I see my daughter smile as she is always sick . This gives me hope that she will live
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Our daughter suffers from pneumonia and we are frequently visiting the hospital which has drained alot of resources for our family
