Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Before receiving this transfer, I was sleeping on a very old mattress that was uncomfortable and had failed to acquire a new mattress because the agricultural produce that I harvested were not even enough to feed my family. When I recieved this transfer, I immediately bought a bigger mattress which is spacious that has given me comfortable night sleep. In addition, I have acquired an ox that is going to help me with ploughing and at times when hired, it will help me pay school feeds for my children. Previously, I hired oxen for farming that gave me reduced harvest because I couldn't afford ploughing a large piece of land.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I realised that GiveDirectly had sent me the money at around 7:00 am, I became very happy because I had got the money to buy an ox that will help me plough my farm land.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my transfer to purchase a bull, 2 trips of sand, a trip of marum , a mattress, clothes, a box, hired others to harvest my crops and children's education

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan is to buy land for farming purposes. I do not have where to carry out crop production since I only own a plot. This has affected production in my home because each season I realise very liittle out put from crop farming hence can not support my family needs. Owning land will enable me embark on serious crop farming to boost my incomes. This will help me in educating my children hence they may get brighter futures to manage their lives.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is morning hours. I enjoy working together with my children in the gardens us it has made us productive.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of money for educating my childrem. My daughter dropped out of school recently since I could not afford to pay her fees. This has affected her future and she is now being used as a helper in peoples homes.
