Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
i was very happy when i realised i had received the money at that point i knew my life has changed actually i bought rice and chicken for my children a meal we eat once in a blue moon
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
i was divorced, since then i used to stay in my brothers house since i could not afford to build my own house, when i received the money i bought all the materials for building the house and right now we have started building my house. my children never had decent clothes to wear at school, they used to wear one dress for the whole week at school without shoes but now they have shoes and they can wear nice clothes at school. the issue of staying without food is history as i have bought enough food for my family .
