How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has greatly changed as I was able to buy my personal farm land which will help in large scale farming and multiple food production. This relieves me from the issue of buying additional food. Initially, I only had one small garden that would not accommodate more than two food crops. This necessitated me to buy more food to feed my family yet it was not easy to make money at the same time.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by giving me unconditional cash transfer which I have used to buy my farm land. On the other hand GiveDirectly has done nothing wrong. Every one in the community is really exited and happy about its work.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my entire Ugx 1600000 second transfer to top up on what I had to buy farm land. I used the remaining Ugx 30000 to buy food for my family.
