How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
When the program started I used my first and second transfers to settle my children's school fees, I bought some fertilizers to improve my farm, my new goal is to improve the house I am currently living in and make it beautiful and more comfortable for my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well by fulfilling all the promises they made to us, I am so glad to be part of such a wonderful program, they are kind and very patient in relating with us. I don't know anything that GiveDirectly is not doing well, all is okay to me.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
After receiving my third transfer, I noticed a cold in my body and my health condition began to decline, I went to the hospital for a check-up, I was diagnosed with a chronic cold. I have used most of my recent transfer for medical bills and medicines, I hope to get well soon so that I can start from where I stop on my house project.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I did not complete my education when I was a child. My parents could not afford to pay my tuition and this led to early marriage because of that I don't have a specific source of income generation. My husband travels to neighboring towns to work on people's farms in order to get our daily meal. If selected, I will use my transfer to send my children to school to prepare them for the future. With the education I will provide my children, I don't think they will go into early marriage like me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the midst of my challenges, my oldest son completed his secondary education. This brought me Joy, now his siblings can use him as a role model.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Right now my husband has traveled to a far away location to work as casual laborer. I'm the only one catering to our children. Sometimes my children who are under age have to work on people's farms to pay their own fees.
