I would be living a sad life since before receiving the funds i was struggling to buy food and other basic needs but the funds have really helped me a lot

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so excited and very happy..I felt that my dreams will now come true as i never knew that i can ever sleep in an iron roofed house..
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest change has been that of eating healthy and nutritious foods three times a day.. Also being able to improve and maintain my house with iron sheets,,glasses..
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to purchase iron sheets to improve my the roof of my house as it was thatched...I then bought windows,,window flames,,nails to maintain the outlook of my house. The other money was spent on buying fertlizer which was applied to my crops and i paid some workers who were helping me out in the garden. I bought a new huge mattress and a bed,,some kitchen utensils such as plates,,cups and pots which were I didn't have in my house. Lastly, i bought food and then i saved the remaining money to be used for buying building materials such as bricks when the rains stop..
