What does receiving this money mean to you?
My son is in the tenth grade class. But last year, I never had money to pay my son's school fees and this made him not to attend school. I want the best for my son. So when I get this money, I will firstly send my son back to school. When he starts going to school again, I will be very happy.
The next thing that I plan to do with the money is to build a new house for myself. Everytime my family members come for visit, I don't have enough rooms to host them in. So, when I get this money, I will build a new house to assist in hosting my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My son lives in Monrovia. At the beginning of this year, the house that he stays in caught fire but nothing absolutely happened to him. I was very happy to see him and I gave God the glory for sparing his life. This brought me great joy that he was alive.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My current challenge is lack of finance. At the moment, I make my farm and harvest the crops to sell. Thus has been helping me, to a larger extent. This year, I didn't make rice farm, except cassava farm. I can sell my cassava to buy my rice to feed myself. Because of my age, I decided to rest this year and not plant rice because of the hard work that it has and even to pay those that will work on my farm. It has brought serious challenge to me, at times.
