How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am a single mpther and have 5 children to take care of.my husband left me with five living children.To feed my children regularly wasn't easy for me until give-directly came to my rescue and now I am able to start building my house and to send my children to school.let God bless give-directly.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal that I had for this my second transfer. I'm thinking about starting a business that will help me. Because I bought the last bundle of zinc with all the necessary items that is needed for building. I'm also going to pay my own daughter WAEC feed. I also bought myself a musical set.life was not fine with me for the past few years. With givedirectly transfer I'm about to live a better life. More especially the people of my village are so excited with this program.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly doing great things for me and my family.i been living on farming and fishing just to provide for my family. I had no husband to help me with the children's tuition. They had been out of school for the past three years ago. With this transfer I'm able now to get them back to school. I'm so appreciative to give directly for their of of support towards me and my family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
A huge of mine, transfer was used for my house project. Some was also used to pay my daughter tuition. I also got some provisions for the house and even bought myself a musical set. I also bought one big matterss and few provisions for myself. I had been suffering for so long years after years.With this transfer I know very well that my life is about to change.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The first time I received my transfer I was so excited. I was on my way to my farms when I received my transfer. I have been living on a farm job just to survive. my children are been out of school, for the past year now. this has been my major concern about how my children will be in school and how to build my house. I just bought the first bundle of zinc with a few picks of nails
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life now is I m thinking about building a very good house. I was on depending on farms to survive, but with this transfer, I will be able to build a very decent house in my house. I just want to acknowledge and give directly for their support towards me and my family.

A little amount of my transfer was used for my children's tuition. some were furthermore used for my house project. I bought a bundle of zinc and a few picks of nails. What does receiving this money mean to you?
"My household doesn't own a house which have caused us to scatter in a single room in one of my neighbors house. When I receive my transfer from GiveDirectly, I will use portion of it to build a house and portion of it will also be used to send my children to school and invest in a mini business with the remaining one that could serve as a source of income to cater to my household needs".
What is the happiest part of your day?
"In the last 6 months nothing has brought me joy, because things has been very difficult for my household, to even get daily meal hasn't been easy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The challenge I'm currently facing is lack of finance. My household is involved into farming, but the proceeds from the farm is not enough cater to my household needs, build a house and at the same time send our children to school".
