Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My biggest desire was to have a better and a bigger house which I used all of my transfers to construct.I have no additional plans at the moment other than to work on the finishing touches on the house through smearing because I know I cannot afford to plaster it due to my low income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I used to live in a very tiny house that I was left in when my husband died and we had to move from the rental house where we were leaving in a nearby shopping center. The house was not just tiny but it also leaked as well and we had a lot of problems during the rainy season when we had to find safer place in the house to keep our bedding dry. After receiving the transfers, all my problems were solved because I built a new house. I cannot thank Give Directly enough for saving me from the horrible life I was living before.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Over the past year after the death of my husband, I was living under a lot of stress due to my pathetic living conditions. This also brought with it a lot of health problems as I could not eat well. Now that my biggest worry is settled, I hope to have a better health so that I can concentrate on providing for my children.

My new goal is to make sure that I build a new house because the current one is in a very bad condition and might even collapse on my anytime.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Had I never received the transfer,I would not have any hopes of building a new house because for a long time I have tried seeking help from relatives but no one helped.I am also happy because will stop living a life of shame due to my living conditions.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months,I will be a more happy person because my biggest burden will have been taken off my shoulders. I will be able to concentrate more on fending for my children which will then result into a more healthy family in general.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I received payments is that I am able to feed well because with the money I received I was able to buy food in bulk so at least I am assured of meals everyday.
