How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am very thankful, because i could have not even started on my own building a house.

Even though the money did not allow us to finish building our houses properly. I am very thankful, because i could have not even started on my own building a house.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy because the money has helped reduce the poverty that my household was facing. Some of my children were not going to school because they did not have good clothes.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
If I did not get this transfer, I would have continued to live in poverty. I would have been hungry and I know my children would not have been going to school.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I recieved the money I bought maize and iron sheets. I also bought clothes for my children so that they can look good when they are going to school. I used some of the money to buy kitchen utensils for my household.
