How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
my life has changed a lot, i struggled a lot doing piece works just so i could afford to buy food but now i am able to afford food.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
it is providing us money that is giving us the capacity to afford and do what we have always wanted to do.

Am planning on spending the money to facilitate construction of my house and also buy food for my family.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very excited and happy when i received the transfer. This was hope in a hopeless situation.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I have managed to buy notable things which could have taken me ages to buy. I am happy that am able to use my bike whenever am traveling. I bove all, i have goats which are my source of joy.

I have been desiring to have a bicycle. Its really difficult walking on foot so i bought a bicycle, I also bought iron sheets, mattress, 3 goats, maize and saved some money for future use.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am so happy to receive this money. I personally live in my fathers little room with my family. I do not have a house. When i get this money i will use it to build a new house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy when i have food and mo ey so that my family have all the neccesities
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Most times, as a farmer i have a problem with finding money for fertilizer. I end up harvesting little produce leading to low income on my family
