How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE " With the support givedirectly is giving us here, i hope to maintain my daughter in school this her final year of senior high. Nothing will make me more happy than seeing my daughter's graduate and become successful in life".

"GiveDirectly is doing well by giving us this huge amount of money. It is very difficult for me to get 1,000.00 LD. I am very grateful to GiveDirectly for changing my story and putting smile on my face. If GiveDirectly can continue the cash transfer in the next villages, it will help them make their own decisions to improve their lives. ".

"My children was thrown out of school due to the lack of finance. So when I withdrew my recent transfer, I used a portion of it to pay my children's balance tuition, and the remaining amount was used to buy materials to renovate my house".

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was on my farm when Give Directly sent my transfer but I was not in the know because my husband left home with the phone. While harvesting my rice that day I was surprised to see him running to have me informed about the transfer. However, I felt happy when he broke the news because I needed money to pay my children's fees at school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
At first, I had been struggling to send my children to school. My husband and I have to farm every year just to support them. However, I'm grateful that I was able to enrolled them in school without any stress or getting indebted to anyone.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my recent to renovate my house, my children's tuition was paid and the balance was used to clean my cocoa farm.

"My main plan right now is to pay my children school fees and improve my business".
What is the happiest part of your day?
Lack of money has brought sadness since the past months. The only time we have gotten happiness is when we are able that day to feel ourselves. Life is not easy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"Lack of money. Currently, I am indebted to my saving club and there's no money to pay their and receive my share from the club. Therefore, I will also some of the the money to pay my club dues".
