How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have acquired enough land with the cash transfers which is a big difference in my life. I plan to build rentals in part of it and cultivate in the remaining land. I wouldn't have got this achievement if it was not for these cash transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well visit me at household level and to seek individual recipient's consent before enrolling them into the program. There is nothing they are doing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchase of a piece of land. I have future plans of building rentals in this land.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
We are very happy that the cash transfer has enabled us complete the purchase of a piece of land.
In addition to this, we also purchased an ox that has boosted our labour force.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received the cash transfer, I jubilated because for a longtime we had hoped to acquire our own piece of land. However, the cash transfer made it possible for us to complete its purchase within a short period of time.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent UGX 1000000 to complete the purchase of a piece of land and UGX 700000 was spent to purchase an ox.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receving this money means i will buy oxen to help me in ploughing of my farm land.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is during the afternoon because I will have sorted most problems like food for the family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Most recently I was meant to plant cassava cuttings but I failed to get the oxen to help me plough my gardens so they are now drying up.
