Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My plan is to continue buying bricks and other materials in preparation to build a plot.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to buy some building materials in preparation to build a plot. This was possible when the transfer from Givedirectly helped me meet the household necessities such as food. The money that would have otherwise been used for these were then diverted to the project. I am more confident that I will soon start the project.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the next six months is to be building if not completing building my plot. Now that I have already started buying some building materials, I will soon start building it. Once completed, this project will be a source of income for my family and will help me meet my responsibilities as the head of the family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Comparing my current life and the past four months, I can teatify that there is been a great difference. Few months ago, I was struggling to make good use of the little amount I was getting to fully feed my family which was really hard but nowadays I can comfortably spent more than 500 KES per day just because of the consistent monthly transfer I am receving from GiveDirectly.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have an additional goal to start developing the plot we recently bought in the nearby village. Over time now, I have been sourcing the construction materials which at the moment are almost enought to start me off in the construction. I have managed to buy 2000 bricks and now working towards obtaining iron sheets which on my view I will have obtained enough in the next four months.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is the complete payment of school fees for my child who is currently in the University. Initially I was fully dependent on livestock farming to settle all bills which was really hard since the production of milk have been fluctuating over time. When I started receiving this transfer, I felt relieved since the household transfers combined would really contribute to a greater percentage of the school fees. I am currently paying the school fees at ease using the transfers we are receiving and also from the milk we have been selling from our liveatock.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have completed the delevopment of the new plot. I am saving a lot from the milk production currently and with the monthly transfer, I am sure I will have gathered enough money to raise a nice structure in the plot in the next six months.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I am currently doing improved farming. I employed better machines to in farming like tractor during land preparation, buy hybrid seeds and quality fertilizer since I can afford them with the help of monthly transfer from GD hence I am hopeful of better yield this harvesting season. I currently access and provide for my family daily needs with ease unlike before when I had no steady income per month. I had been aiming to save or invest more for my future family life but it was had with the scarce resources I had. I am currently so happy I joined a merry go round where I contribute KES2000 per months. This is my saving plan and I am that when my turn will come, the lump sum money will help add more assets to my family.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The new goal that I have for my life in the next four months is to buy a cow. I have saved money on amerry go round group and my turn will before four months elapse from now hence I will use the lump sum to bring another asset to my family. I prefer to buy a cow since it will help in milk production for both household consumption, sale and calves that will act as my security for any financial needs arising.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I an ambitious youth who always aim to build a good future. I majorly depend on farming and the little I get from surplus yields I save to help in other investments. The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is the saving that I make per month using monthly transfers through a merry go round we started with other villagers. I had been aiming to save per month but since I rely on farming that takes time to mature makes it impossible for me to save. I am happy that I have made a good move on merry go round and optimistic that when my turn comes I will receive a lump sum that can help acquire more assets for my family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to be in a better position in financial stability since I will have harvested and sold cabbages that I currently on the farm. I expect my turn in the merry go round I joined to have come and I will have bought a cow to add to the two I have using the mone. I planning to use the remaining amount from what I will earn from both merry go round and cabbages sale to start a business and will be my happiness and hope of a better future.
