How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes, I have a new goal of starting a clothes business. Before receiving this last transfer, I never thought of opening a clothes business. This clothes business is not being sold by anyone in Sala's town and that drive this goal. I believe establishing this new business will help improve my income of supporting my family and it will easing the burden of families living in this village, Sala, of traveling as far as Cestos or Buchanan to purchase clothes.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD is doing extremely well for empowering us through its cash transfer model. I didn't had the imagination of receiving such a huge amount that I did not labour for. I am very happy for GD coming Sala's town to help improve our lives. However, I am not aware of any unwell things that GD is doing.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My last transfer was spent on purchasing clothes to sell in Sala's town. This is a business that has never been establish in Sala's town. So opening this business will help improve my income and reduce the burden of having money to supporting my family.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal before receiving this transfer is to improve my husband fishing business. My husband is a fisherman. Fishing is the only source of income for our family. We live with our two children. For the past six months now business has not been good for us due to spoil fishing nets. The fishing nets that my husband currently using is in a very bad condition. And because of this he has not been able to catch enough fish for sale. That is why I have purchased a new fishing net to improve on his business.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well for transferring me money to improve my husband fishing business. I am not aware of any wrong that this organisation has done. What I have to say to the family of GiveDirectly is thanks for transferring unconditional cash to us.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought a brand new fishing nets for my husband. He is a fisherman and fishing is the only source of income for our family. The current nets that he is using is in a bad condition. This prevent him from catching enough fish for sale. So, my most recent transfer was spent on getting a brand new fishing nets to improve his business which will support our income generation and provide for family.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
"I was firstly sad when everyone's money came and couldn't get mine but after few hours, I saw my money and I became very happy dancing with praises to God Almighty. Before getting on Give Directly's program, I was not doing anything; as the result, I was always been over looked by my love one and community dwellers. Some called me good for nothing. While others called house girl. But as I have received my first payment form Give Directly, I have established my personal business where the same people who called me all kinds of names are my customers and they even ask me for credits. By the grace of God, I'm hoping to establish the biggest shop in the town and to also build the finest house in the town because I want to make the difference among the town citizens. "
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
"Some of the biggest differences Give Directly Program has made in my life are: I have zinc to build my own house and I also have my own business which is generating money for me on a daily basis. Before getting GD money, everyone had under estiminated me. But Give Directly has changed my story and everyone wants to be a friend to me."
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
"My recent and first payment was basically spent on two major items namely: a bundle of zinc and dry goods for sale (establishment of business). I established business because there is a business need and my business will empower me. At the same time I bought a bundle of zinc because I will also add few boundles to it in order to build my own house as I'm in someone's mat-round house which is not conducive for living."

My greatest joy is when my husband go fishing and return with enough fish for me to sale. That's the only thing that has make me happy in the last 6months.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My greatest challenge has been with school. I really want to go back to school but there is no school around here for us to go to. If you don't have money to go cestor to attend, that mean you Will just stay here and married.
