How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't have any new goal for now, I want to complete the house I started and the remaining transfer will be used for the cocoa farm as I previously planned.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly transfer has done me so much good, I can't expressed how good Givedirectly transfer is me and the community. Most of the houses in this community was thatched houses but since Givedirectly came everyone is developing their lives building new houses and changing their roofs. I can't tell any wrong Givedirectly has done to me nor my community that I know of.

I bought one and a half bundles of zinc and paid the contractors for brushing the cocoa farm.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I had just come from work and my wife told me givedirectly sent our money. I was so happy and I began to dance. I was shouting telling God thank you for givedirectly for coming to the aid of the poor like me. That night I could hardly find sleep out of excitement.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
All along I have survived on the farm i made; but I was unable to raise money to build a house. Since I have gotten this money, I will build a new house and this makes me very happy and fulfilled. As you can see, I live in this dilapidated house that leaks everywhere during the rainy season. My dream has been to live in a zinc house and Givedirectly has brought that dream to reality. Who ever thought I could get such huge amount of money, I am so happy in my daily life.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought One bundle of zinc, two cutlasses, one file and assorted food items to start the construction of my new house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
What I plan to do with my cash transfer are, to build a zinc house within this town, reason being, the house I'm currently in is my own house, but it has thatched roof which is causing serious leakages, but no cash to help the process. The next thing I plan to do is, to pay laborers to brush/clean my cocoa farm.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What had brought me happiness in the last six months is, for the fact that my cocoa farm has started bearing, it has raised my hope to some extend that I feel that my family has something to depend on in feature, this has brought me joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Those challenges I'm currently faced with are, firstly, the issue of getting cash to support my home is of serious challenge, I don't have any good jobs doing, the only source of income is my farms, but my cocoa and rubber farms haven't started producing yet, so we survive from the palm I cut in the bush and the cassava farm. Secondly, getting money to finance my building project is also a serious challenge, there is no much money to both sustain the home and start up the building project simultaneously.
