How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am planning sell those pig and goat that I have bought to buy a cow which will give me manure and help me to sustain my daily life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD helped me while I was very poor and I am so glad because of that. I didn't have livestock and Land to cultivate but now I am happy that I have got them. Everything that GD has done was very good and I don't see anything that it can change
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought Land of $200 because I didn't have a place to cultivate, Pig of $50 and Goat of $48 because I needed Livestocks at home and I also bought food including Beans and Rice to eat for 22.5 $. Other remaining money I bought clothes for my Children and mine

I bought a big female pig of 150k and am planning to breed it so that I will start pig farming as my business.

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
The first thing I am planning to do is to build a good house for myself and a toilet which i currently don't have. I will build the house in the first installment and buy food and other materials i need for the house like furniture matress and clothes. In the second installment I am planning to buy livestock, i will buy a pig for 30$ and 2 goats for 80$ , I will also buy a land of my own and the balance i will save it and use it in the future. Receiving this money means having an opportunity to reunite and live with my children again , this money will help me build a good house and be able to provide for my children without solicitating support from my friends and family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Knowing that my children are now able to have food on the table brings me happiness because i was not able to provide it for them myself but now i have a peace of mind knowing that they are living well and studying and not struggling as I do.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Not having a proper shelter to live in is my greatest challenge because when we are in a rainy season i struggle a lot as the rain reaches inside the house, and I don't have my own land to cultivate in which requires me to work for others daily in other to get food. Living alone is harder for me , as I have separated with my husband 25 years ago and i was not able to re marry again and I don't live with my 3 children because i can't be able to provide for them. My 2 kids currently live with their grandparents and the third lives with my neighbour who saw me struggle to get food to eat and offered to help out by raising her.
