How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes I do have goals that I have that I didn't have before receiving the transfer from GD. I am planning on completing my house. For the past years I and my husband have been living in a two bedroom hoouse that is not fully built. The house has no floor and has no doors. My husband and I survive on our small fish business and our profits have never been enough to complete the house. Completing the house is our goal at the moment so that we can stay in a comfortable home. I have bought cement so that we can plaster and put a floor in our house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Givedirectly does well in sending cash transfer. For me this was my first time receiving a large amount of money and the money has helped me improve my life. I don't know anything GD does not do well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my recent transfer on business. I stopped my business because I had to start farming for food and I had no money to continue my business. The recent money transfer will help me start my fish business again.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money means that I will be able to finish renovating my house. The house I am living in does not have glass windows. I just put bricks to cover up the window frames. The floor is also made of sand. As such I will have to buy glass for the Windows. I will also buy cement for the floor. On top of I will build a brick fence around it for security reasons. I will also buy a matress because I don't have any right now.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest whenever I find enough money to buy food for my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is not having enough money. I depend on casual labor to make money but I don't find piece works every day. It is hard to be at peace when I don't have money.
