How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that, one of my biggest dreams was to build a permanent house and this transfers have enabled me to fulfill it.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give directly has done well in giving us money that has enabled us to fulfill plans that we had and according to me there is nothing bad Gd has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on iron sheets at Ugx 580000, timber at Ugx 370000 and Ugx 30000 on food. I also made bricks at Ugx 650000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I am happy because I own two bulls that I will use for ploughing.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my transfer, I felt overwhelming joy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I bought a bed and a mattress at 200,000ugx. I bought solar to provide light at night worth 150,000ugx. I then bought two bulls at 1,300,000ugx to help in ploughing. The balance of 50,000ugx, I want to use for making bricks while waiting for the second transfer in order to start construction work of my permenent house.

Receiving this money means that, i will be able to access a better shelter since it will enable me construct an iron roof house.

Afternoon time is my happiest part of the day.This is the time i share interesting stories with my lovely son.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of enough money to establish a comfortable iron roof shelter for my family.
