How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I have owned cows and replaced house hold items that had got burnt in my house. I have a peaceful mind because I paid all the debts that I had and also paid the medical expenses for treating my daughter's. I couldn't have saved my daughter's life had I not recieved this money and at my old age I wouldn't have owned the cows I currently have.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well to give me cash that I used to save my daughter's life and replacing all the house hold items that got burnt in my house. GiveDirectly has done for me only good and may God bless the donors.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have got items that I didn't have before like a cow, a bed and a matress since all my bedings got burnt in the house last year.

The moment I recieved my money I became very happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for purchasing a cow at 700,000 ugx, a bed plus a mattress at 160,000 ugx and 40,000 ugx for food. I have not yet spent 800,000 ugx but am planning to spend it on hiring other people for cultivating, weeding crops and buying food.

Receiving this money means, I will buy a cow which inturn will give me milk to boost my diet

The happiest part of my day is in the evenings when I have take some alcohol. This makes me happy and I tend to forget about my worries
