How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed in different ways, I had no hope that one day i will have a house with iron sheets. I also been not able to afford fertilizer for my farm, but with coming of GD, i have fertilizer now and also i have enough food for my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
This is a tough question for me.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought 3 bags of fertilizer, 4 bags of maize, 1 bag of lime and the rest will be wages for the people who are fixing my iron room.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I was just hearing rumours about this project and when I heard you were coming to our village I was so excited. I intend to use the money from this program to build a much better house for my family as the one we currently live in is grass thatched and was built using mud. I wish to build one with bricks and iron sheets with a cement floor
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest everytime I have enough food to feed my family
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have challenges in working properly as some functions on my body do not work properly due to some burns I encountered when I was young
