How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different. First, school fee for my son is fully catered for the rest of his secondary education. Initially, he often missed school due to lack of funds for fee. Second, my children do not roam in the village borrowing space to sleep at night. There is a brand new house for them and they are comfortable. We built it using the transfer we received from GD. Finally, we are well fed as a family. We used to skip meals due to lack of funds but now we are a happy lot; we have more than enough courtesy of GiveDirectly. Thank you GD!
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Thank you GiveDirectly for the work you do. We had suffered as residents in our area and your work has lifted us out of a poverty rut. Please keep doing the work you do; in my view all that GiveDirectly does is commendable.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the second transfer that I received from GiveDirectly to pay school fee for my son in secondary education. Because the funds was quite an amount, I was able to clear fee for two years. I am now free and at ease because he will be done with secondary education in two years. Thank you for the transfers.
