Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in the garden with my wife when we saw the message, I was very happy that God had finally answered our prayers and sent Give directly that sent the money to us. The first thing I thought about was constructing a house as the one I stay in is inadequate.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The construction of a bigger house for my family, I can now afford to put it up, the ability for my children to have milk whenever from the cow I bought and securing their future with the cow and land.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought 20 iron sheets, a cow, bought an extension to my land where I will put up an adequate home.

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
We are planning on looking for a new area to relocate too that's relatively flat and not affected by water. We have not yet found a place to relocate to as per now but when we get the mo ey we will relocate. Am also planning on purchasing a cow worth $417 to produce some milk that I can consume.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Nothing in particular has brought us joy otherthan being alive.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Greatest challenge is water that flows from up to our home. It destroys even the crops that we have and most cases we are very worried that any time the landslides may come and take our whole family. The destruction of our crops brings us hunger and sometimes we are worried of how we shall be eating in the future.
