I am grateful for being in the program, I am now able to buy things I could not afford and my life is never the same

The way Givedirectly is operating everything is fine no need for any changes

I used the money I received from Givedirectly to buy cement, frames, glasses, nails and Windows for building my house and I used some of the money to buy bags of maize and school uniforms for my children

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy and excited, i actually couldn't believe what i saw because alot of people were saying many negative things about GD program so somehow i was sceptical about receiving the transfer from Givedirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Our everyday living has greatly improved since receiving this money from Givedirectly, now we are able to eat 3 times on each and every single day which couldn't have been possible without this money, can now go farming without having to worry about what to eat on that day. We are working in our farms with such a peace of mind.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I'm so grateful for the money..it means helping us to sustain our household by buying iron sheets and other necessities such as beddings and clothes.. I would also like to venture into a business..
