How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is not any different because I had a household conflict with my spouse and family members which got fueled when I received the transfer. I separated with my husband leaving me with no opportunity to plan and spend the transfer as I wanted. In addition, my second transfer was stolen.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to give me money. I was just unfortunate that I could not plan well and spend the money as I wanted because we had a family conflict. There is nothing wrong with the way GIveDirectly operates.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent UGX 80,000 of my second transfer for paying a medical bill. I bought food of UGX 50,000 and sent for my parents UGX 60,000. The rest of the transfer was stolen on phone by some one I knew.
