I spent my third transfer on building material such as 34 pieces of iron sheets, roofing timber, 30 bags of cement, steel windows and door that I will use to build a new house.

We spent our second transfer majorly on bricks, iron sheets and sand for constructing a new house since our current house is very old and small in size. We also spent on clothes and food for the family.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I can say that before I received my first transfer, I lacked most of the table and kitchen ware for instance cooking pans, basins and cups and therefore I spent the whole of my first transfer on these items. I am very glad that my kitchen is now complete.

The moment I received my first transfer, I felt very happy since this is a grant that I was never sure of receiving but when I received it, I confirmed that it was really genuine.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that we face is water scarcity.Getting clean water to cater for our needs has just been hectic from the onset of droughts being experienced in the village and every day we are forced to buy water at sh.150 just so as to survive.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evenings when I am with my family members and we share a meal together.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means a lot to us.we plan to build a permanent house that is not only spacious to accommodate us all, but also very decent and smart as compared to the one we are living in currently.
