What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to hire a plot for farming, I spent some amount to hire a tractor to plough the land in preparation for planting. I bought two sacks of maize for consumption and also hired casual laborers to weed my farm. The remaining amount, I spent to pay school fees for my children who are in primary school.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I now have beautiful sofa set and a high density mattress, I have livestock which I never thought I could buy in my life. All this were possible because of the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in uplifting the living standards of recipients in our community. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well in our community

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchasing seats since I had old ones, bought four goats with an intention of selling the offsprings to pay school fees and paid workers to prepare my parcel of land early enough. I also bought a bed and a mattress to sleep in a comfortable place and spent most of the transfer on purchasing three sacks of maize for the family consumption.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I don't struggle soo much on buying food because I managed to purchase enough unlike before.

I plan to buy building materials like ironsheets,nails,timber and pay work man to build a new bigger house for me.I also plan to buy household furnitures since my house does not have good seats.The rest I will use to start up a carnteen for my wife since she has no job.
