What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am a government teacher and my salary is very low to cover my daily expenses and to improve the lives of my family( by having a decent house to live in and to do a business that will sustain my family). Moreover, the government deduct 10% of my salary for insurance but when we are sick, the insurance does not cover all of our bills.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I have not been happy in the past 6months because the government do not pay us on time. Presently they have not paid us for 3months and times are hard. Secondly my rubber farm is not earning much because I don't have the man power to work. But now that you have enrolled me on Givedirectly program I have hope that things are going to be fine.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I plan to complete my house and put flush toilet so that I can be proud when strangers visit me. I also built a shop but due to my low income as a teacher I have not been able to buy goods to open the shop. So when I receive my transfer my focus will be to complete my house and to buy goods for my shop.
