How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is better in that, I bought livestock and household goods such as beddings, clothesand utensils. Before, I couldn't afford due to lack of money. Now with this transfer, this livestock will sustaimy family in the future after reproducing.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Gd has done well by helping me solve most of the needs I had that required money. There is nothing bad that it has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on livestock ( cow n 2 sheep) clothes, food and debt payment

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The big difference in my life is that I have paid a debt which enabled me to get back my farm land that was given out as security. I can now freely cultivate and out of it, I will gets harvest which will keep my house food secure. Previously, I had a mall piece of land around my compound which could not allow me cultivate enough crops. The little harvest I got would be consumed within a short period of time.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I felt so happy. I woke up with my husband to pray and thank God for blessing us.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on repayment of a debt of UGX 400,000 which enabled us to get back our two acres of land which was given out as security. I completed payment of a piece of land at UGX 700,000. I purchased a mattress, a bed, Kitchen utensils, bed sheets, curtains, clothes , shoes. Some money was spent on motorcycle repair and purchase of food.

This transfers I intend to use for building ironroofed house that can provide better shelter.

The happiest part of the day is morning when Iam chatting with my spouse on new days programme.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of enough money to enable me fulfill my family needs like having better house, land to farm.
